Shooting you (see what I did!) a last chance to see Long Beach Island NJ Foundation's "Works on Paper" Juried Exhibition which ends on May 30th. Seventy-one works by 71 artists were selected from over a thousand submissions from across the United States including "Night of the Shooting Stars", my monotype on Strathmore paper depicting the romance of a Perseids meteor shower over a starlit body of water. I'm delighted to be selected to display my artwork along with these other amazing artists.
Juror Esther Adler is curator of Prints and Drawings at the Museum of Modern Art. Works on Paper is supported by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts and Bank of America.
About the jury process for the Works on Paper Exhibition, Adler said, “I found myself looking for beauty in these submissions, not simply on an aesthetic level, but rather in the shared commitment to the creation of art as a way for artists to understand and shape the world. I was not disappointed.”
