Heartfelt Holiday Gratitude šŸ’

Creating art is my passion but it is also a privilege and for that I am extremely grateful to you, my customers, friends and fellow art lovers. Thank you for your business, for your referrals, likes and comments and for including my art in your life.

Distant mountains and pastel skies speak a message of 'hope springs eternal', one of my recurring themes and more so in our challenging times. Painted at the start of the pandemic, I revisited "Serenity recently to simplify the composition so that the focus is squarely on the mountains at the horizon without any distracting trees in the foreground. I also added the blue streak of water to emphasize the melting ice and return to Spring. (Yes artists really can move mountains!).

*Note on photographing oil paintings - different light brings out different tones which is why I like to post alternate images. The pastel shades of "Serenity" turn cool or warm depending on the light source.

Wishing you and yours a creative 2022! -Emily Gilman Beezley
